As an alumnus, you have the opportunity to share the theoretical and practical knowledge you acquired at our school and have utilized in the professional world with our current students through guest lectures.
Increasingly, our school emphasizes enriching and diversifying individual courses with guest lectures held by our corporate partners and alumni. This initiative aims to give students insight into practical applications during their university years. The bi-annual event series, World of Practice (WoP), is designed precisely for this purpose. WoP events are special classes within a course where a guest lecturer joins the regular instructor to share their professional knowledge and experience, thus introducing students to the practical world.
WoP events take place throughout the semester, but there is one week each term (WoP Week) when significantly more guest lecturers come to our school. This week also hosts the “Everyone Wants to Stay in PÉCS” panel discussion. For this discussion, we invite former students and alumni members who have thrived and succeeded in Pécs. In addition to building alumni and corporate relations, the Pécs Business School has strategically aimed to explore local opportunities and communicate regional prospects. It's important that we encourage our students to remain in the region, thereby supporting local economic development.
